Miss Tianna May- Melton: Owner, Instructor

Miss Tianna has been dancing for 30+ years and teaching for 22. She received training from various dance studios and danced competitively both on the regional and national levels. She was also a member of the Greater Lansing Ballet Company where she studied under Barbara Banakikowski Smith and also received training with Ballet Magnificat. Tianna graduated from Calvin College with a degree in psychology and dance. She has a heart for those with special needs and has created dance programs for many local studios and churches. She Introduced "Joy In Motion" to the community, which is a nonprofit division of Integrity that offers free dance lessons to students with disabilities.

Miss Hope Welch: Instructor, Studio Director

Miss Hope has been dancing for 25 years and teaching for 15. She has been trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, tap and folk. Miss Hope trained with Lori Ladwig at the Jackson Ballet Company for many years and then later at the Greater Lansing Ballet Company with Barbara Banakikowski Smith. Miss Hope graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in psychology and a health promotion specialization. While there she also studied Laban and Modern dance. Miss hope also has a Master's in Psychology and is our Outreach Team Director.

Miss Riley: Joy in Motion

Miss Riley is a proud Integrity Dance Arts alumna who trained with us for many years. She now shares her passion for dance as a teacher in our special needs program, Joy in Motion. Originally from Hudsonville, MI, Miss Riley’s favorite styles of dance include contemporary, modern, and ballet. Outside of the studio, she enjoys art and caring for her five pets. We are grateful for Miss Riley’s dedication and the heart she brings to the IDA family.

Miss Talia Lebowitz: Ballet & Pointe Instructor

Miss Talia grew up in Agoura Hills California and started her dance training at California Dance Theatre. She began teaching at CDT as an assistant teacher and has continued to teach ballet, pointe, variations, and conditioning in their summer programs over the past three years. In 2018, she joined Kansas City Ballet School’s daytime program and then joined KCBs trainee program for the following two years. While at KCB, Talia had the opportunity to perform in Devon Carney’s productions of The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. She also continued her teaching experience in Kansas City Ballet school. In 2021, Talia joined Grand Rapids Ballet as an apprentice and was promoted to Company in 2023. While at GRB she has performed in Val Caniparoli’s The Nutcracker, Christopher Stowell’s A Midsummer Nights Dream, James Sofranko’s Mozart and Romeo and Juliet, George Balanchine’s Serenade and Who Cares, and Lar Lubovitch’s Elemental Brubeck.

Miss Elle Metternick

Miss Elle teaches Jazz and serves as a Company Coach at IDA! She has been part of the IDA family since she was just 3 years old, spending 13 years as a student and now 3 years as a teacher. Dance has always been a huge part of her life, and she is so grateful for the opportunity to share her love and passion for dance with the next generation. Outside of the studio, Miss Elle recently got married and loves spending time with her husband and working on renovating their 1950s home. She is passionate about encouraging her students to grow not only as dancers, but also in confidence and character. Most importantly, she hopes to use the gifts and passion the Lord has given her to inspire, encourage, and make a positive impact on every student she teaches!

Miss Natalie: Instructor

Natalie is looking forward to joining the Integrity staff in teaching the art of dance! Natalie has trained in ballet as well as other dance forms since she was little, and graduated from the Grand Rapids Ballet School in 2024. Alongside dance, Natalie loves musical theatre and performs whenever she gets the chance. Some of Natalie’s favorite things include traveling, hiking, anything artistic, and spending time with friends and family! Natalie is passionate about sharing the love of Christ and reaching the lost for His kingdom, she hopes that you will experience His presence and find fulfillment in Him today.

Miss Bre Dill: Hip Hop Instructor

Miss Bre is going into her 15th year dancing here at IDA, where she has trained in Hip Hop, Ballet, Contemporary, and Jazz. She is the Senior Captain of the Outreach Team and enjoys the opportunity to perform throughout the community. Miss Bre is also Senior Captain of the Grandville Varsity Dance Team where she has competed throughout West Michigan winning numerous awards. Miss Bre is so excited to watch her students learn and grow as dancers this upcoming year!

Miss Jocelyn Metcalf: Instructor

Miss Jocelyn grew up going to Integrity and trained for 14 years in every style she could. She took part in the demonstrator program and Joy in Motion program starting in 7th grade and loved getting to instruct the tap program in the 2022-2023 season. She has guest choreographed for Stage GRs productions of The Little Mermaid and Willy Wonka, and also for the Byron Center High Schools choir program.

This past year Jocelyn moved to Texas to train, minister, and tour professionally with Ingredients Dance Company as a trainee but is so excited to come back this year to her home studio and teach full time.

Miss Kenzie: Instructor

Miss Kenzie began dancing at the age of 3 at a local studio, where she trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, modern, acro, and musical theater. Throughout her training, she competed in numerous styles and attended conventions including Nuvo, Jump, Adrenaline, 24/7, Radix, Revel, and The Dance Awards. She also had the opportunity to learn from and perform choreography by professional choreographers Dorell Martin and Anthony Morigerato. In high school, Miss Kenzie was a member of the Hudsonville High School Dance Team, competing in jazz, pom, and hip hop. She served as team captain her junior and senior years and attended NDA camps each year, where she was awarded NDA All-American her sophomore, junior, and senior years. As an All-American, she had the opportunity to attend the Varsity Spirit Spectacular in Orlando and perform at Disney three times. Miss Kenzie continued her dance career at Davenport University as a member of the Davenport Dance Team, performing at football and basketball games and competing at NDA Nationals. During her time on the team, Davenport earned a first-place national title in the Team Routine category. For the past two years, Miss Kenzie has enjoyed subbing at Integrity Dance Arts and is excited to continue growing within the IDA family as an instructor. She loves helping dancers build confidence, develop technique, and find joy in dance.

Miss Ariana

Miss Ariana danced with IDA for over 7 years before becoming a teacher.

Ariana has trained in ballet, contemporary, jazz and pointe. She was a senior captain for the IDA Outreach Team as well as a Joy in Motion Coach. In the summer, she has trained with Grand Rapids Ballet and Joffrey Ballet in New York City. Currently, she is pursuing a double major in dance and exercise science at GVSU. She is excited to share her love of dance and teaching with her students this year!

Miss Ellie: Irish Instructor

Miss Ellie’s journey in the world of dance began in the small town of Portland, MI, where she discovered her passion at the age of 5. By 7, she fell in love with Irish dancing, captivated by its rich traditions and vibrant art form. Over the years, she showcased her talent not only through her home studio but also with various dance troupes and schools dedicated to Irish dance. Her dedication to the craft extended beyond performing; for five years, she had the privilege of teaching Irish dance at her home studio, sharing her knowledge and passion with others. Among her many accomplishments, the highlight of her dance career was dancing alongside the renowned Riverdance in Boston, an experience that solidified her love for the art and its community

Miss Audrey Ramsey: Instructor

Audrey is currently a senior on the 9x national champion Davenport University Dance team. Audrey was on the team for four of the national titles Davenport won in both jazz and team routine. During her Sophomore year, Audrey served as a coordinator for the team. This year at NDA camp, Audrey was awarded the title of All American. Prior to attending Davenport university, Audrey trained in numerous styles including jazz, contemporary, modern, ballet, tap, and hiphop. Along with that, she was on the Haslett high school dance team where she served as a captain her senior year. Audrey has attended 6 dance intensives including Complexions, Oklahoma University, and Brenau University where she trained under reputable professors/company members in both modern and ballet. She has danced both competitively and as a member of the Greater Lansing Ballet company/pro company. She is so excited to start teaching at IDA!!

Miss Nicole: Instructor

Miss Nicole was born and raised in West Michigan and discovered her love for music and dance at the age of four. She was a competitive tap dancer from ages 7–18, earning 1st place regional and 3rd and 5th place national championship titles. She has additional training in ballet and jazz and has taught all three genres intermittently for the past 16 years.

Nicole attended Pensacola Christian College, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017. After returning to West Michigan, she worked as an RN while continuing her dance training in ballroom, expanding her knowledge to include all major ballroom styles. In 2019, she performed more than eight ballroom styles at a professionally judged showcase, followed by a local ballroom performance later that summer.

She has also taught ballet and tap, led a high school cheer camp, choreographed and performed liturgical dances at area churches, and performed tap at the Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts.

With a genuine heart for ministry and church worship, Nicole is excited to combine her passion for serving God and others with her love for dance.

Miss Tiffany: Instructor

Miss Tiffany is thrilled to be joining IDA as a teacher and is looking forward to an exciting upcoming dance season! She has 10 years of experience as a competitive dancer, including 8 years as a competitive soloist, performing both regionally and nationally. She has trained extensively in tap, hip hop, jazz, musical theatre, lyrical, contemporary, and ballet. With three years of previous teaching experience, Tiffany has enjoyed working with dancers ranging from minis to adults and is passionate about helping students build confidence, technique, and a genuine love for dance. Outside of the studio, she is a graphic designer and a Christian music artist under the name Tiffany Faith, and continues to perform on stage as both a singer and dancer with Hark Up Music.

Miss Avery: Instructor

Miss Avery recently graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in Special Education and is now a teacher for students with cognitive impairments. She is incredibly passionate about teaching and loves creating a fun, welcoming, and encouraging environment where her students feel comfortable being themselves and growing in their abilities.

Avery has been dancing since she was three years old and has loved exploring and training in many different styles throughout the years. She is a big believer in having fun, being silly, and not taking yourself too seriously! When she’s not dancing or teaching, you can usually find Avery reading or enjoying another cozy hobby.

She is so excited to bring her love of dance and teaching to the studio and can’t wait to make lots of fun memories with her dancers!

Miss Emily: Instructor

Emily has been dancing since age two, growing up in southeast Michigan with classical ballet at the heart of her training. Throughout her teenage years, she attended intensives across the country, including training with the Cecchetti Council of America, Michael Patterson Ballet, and Grand Rapids Ballet. She competed at Youth America Grand Prix, earned her Cecchetti Ballet Grade 6 certification, and performed as the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker.

From 2020–2021, Emily was a member of Jodie Randolph’s pre-professional contemporary company, Young Dancers Initiative. She discovered her passion for teaching in high school and continued expanding her training in jazz, pom, and hip hop.

In 2023, Emily joined the Davenport University Dance Team, helping earn four national titles at NDA College Nationals. She has since earned her Bachelor’s degree and is currently completing her Master’s degree while continuing to dance.

Emily’s faith is the foundation of her life, and she is passionate about sharing her love of dance while encouraging and connecting with students both in and out of the studio.
