Miss Tianna May- Melton: Owner, Instructor
Miss Tianna has been dancing for 30+ years and teaching for 19. She received training from various dance studios and danced competitively both on the regional and national levels. She was also a member of the Greater Lansing Ballet Company where she studied under Barbara Banakikowski Smith and also received training with Ballet Magnificat. Tianna graduated from Calvin College in 2005 with a degree in psychology and dance. She has a heart for those with special needs and has created dance programs for many local studios and churches. She Introduced "Joy In Motion" to the community, which is a nonprofit division of Integrity that offers free dance lessons to students with disabilities.
Miss Hope Sholtis: Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet Instructor
Miss Hope has been dancing for 25 years and teaching for 12. She has been trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, tap and folk. Miss Hope trained with Lori Ladwig at the Jackson Ballet Company for many years and then later at the Greater Lansing Ballet Company with Barbara Banakikowski Smith. Miss Hope graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in psychology and a health promotion specialization. While there she also studied Laban and Modern dance. Miss hope also has a Master's in Psychology and is our Outreach Team Director.
Miss Courtney Houldsworth: Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical Instructor
Miss Courtney has been dancing for 22 years, teaching for 8, and is educated in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, and pom. She trained at numerous studios in Grand Rapids, competing regionally and nationally. Miss Courtney has coached local high school dance teams, was a member of Davenport University's Dance Team, and has danced semi-professionally. Miss Courtney earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and a Master's in Management, both from Davenport University. She strives to share her passion with young dancers in a fun and positive learning environment and is our Marketing Director.
Miss Sarah Nichols: Preschool, Ballet, Jazz Instructor
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Miss Sarah has been dancing for more than 20 years and is proficient in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and Contemporary dance. She received her training at Boni’s Dance and Performing Arts, Payne Academy of Performing Arts, and The Woodlands Civic Ballet in Houston, dancing with several different companies and competition teams throughout the years. Miss Sarah is currently pursuing a Masters in Education at Calvin College and has a passion for sharing her love of dance with children. She continues to bring that passion and joy to our IDA family.
Miss Taylor LaCombe: Preschool Instructor
Miss Taylor has been dancing for 15+ years and is trained in tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, pointe, and hip hop. She has received her training at Integrity Dance Arts where she has participated in many programs including the Outreach Team Captain, Demonstrator, and Joy in Motion. Miss Taylor is currently studying at Calvin University majoring in Kinesiology for Physical Therapy. She is very excited to continue being part of the Integrity family and to inspire and teach the next generation of dancers!
Miss Olivia Kraeuter: Tap, Jazz, Lyrical Instructor
Miss Olivia has been dancing for 20 years and has studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, and pom. She trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary with the Jackson Dance Company under Kate Price. Later, she directed the tap branch of the Jackson Dance Company. Miss Olivia has taught and choreographed a variety of dance styles for studios, dance teams, and schools in Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Elementary Education and will soon earn her Master’s from MSU as well. Miss Olivia is thrilled to join the Integrity family and share her passions for dance and faith with her students.
