Miss Tianna May- Melton: Owner, Instructor
​
Miss Tianna has been dancing for 30+ years and teaching for 21. She received training from various dance studios and danced competitively both on the regional and national levels. She was also a member of the Greater Lansing Ballet Company where she studied under Barbara Banakikowski Smith and also received training with Ballet Magnificat. Tianna graduated from Calvin College with a degree in psychology and dance. She has a heart for those with special needs and has created dance programs for many local studios and churches. She Introduced "Joy In Motion" to the community, which is a nonprofit division of Integrity that offers free dance lessons to students with disabilities.

Miss Hope Welch: Instructor, Studio Director
​
Miss Hope has been dancing for 25 years and teaching for 14. She has been trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, tap and folk. Miss Hope trained with Lori Ladwig at the Jackson Ballet Company for many years and then later at the Greater Lansing Ballet Company with Barbara Banakikowski Smith. Miss Hope graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in psychology and a health promotion specialization. While there she also studied Laban and Modern dance. Miss hope also has a Master's in Psychology and is our Outreach Team Director.

Miss Ashley Isenhoff: Musical Theatre Instructor

Miss Ashley has been performing with Civic Theatre and Circle Theatre for 10 years where she has had many lead roles such as Leisel, Little Red Riding Hood and Scout. She was also the dance captain for Annie, the Musical.
Ashley has trained locally in ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical and loves singing, acting, and playing the piano. She is the eldest of seven and has always enjoyed being the “director." Miss Ashley is thrilled to work with such talented young students!

Miss Talia Lebowitz: Ballet & Pointe Instructor
​
Miss Talia grew up in Agoura Hills California and started her dance training at California Dance Theatre. She began teaching at CDT as an assistant teacher and has continued to teach ballet, pointe, variations, and conditioning in their summer programs over the past three years. In 2018, she joined Kansas City Ballet School’s daytime program and then joined KCBs trainee program for the following two years. While at KCB, Talia had the opportunity to perform in Devon Carney’s productions of The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. She also continued her teaching experience in Kansas City Ballet school. In 2021, Talia joined Grand Rapids Ballet as an apprentice and was promoted to Company in 2023. While at GRB she has performed in Val Caniparoli’s The Nutcracker, Christopher Stowell’s A Midsummer Nights Dream, James Sofranko’s Mozart and Romeo and Juliet, George Balanchine’s Serenade and Who Cares, and Lar Lubovitch’s Elemental Brubeck.

Miss Makayla Fisher: Instructor, Company Director
Miss Mak grew up in Highland, MI where she trained in various dance styles since the age of 4. Continuing her training in college, she has achieved significant sucess with the Davenport University Dance Team, winning 5 consecutive national championships, including double titles in 2024 in the D2 Team routine and D2 Jazz catagories at NDA nationals. SHe also served as the captain of the team for 2 seasons. In addition to her competitive achievements, Miss Mak has extensive experience in the dance team realm, which includes judging, having choreographed for various dance teams in the Metro Detroit area, and creating game day routines for the Davenport dance team. She received her bachelor's degree from Davenport University in Health and Human Service Case Management with a concentration in Life and Family Skills Psychology. Miss Mak is passionate about mentoring young dancers and helping them achieve their full potential at IDA.
​​Miss Holly Volkerding: Preschool Instructor
Miss Holly has been dancing for 18 years and danced competitively for 8 years. She has been trained in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Modern, and Musical Theater. After graduating high school, Miss Holly attended DePaul University with a major in Film & Television and a minor in Performance Studies. She studied acting, performance theory, and modern dance at The Theater School at DePaul. She was also part of the DePaul Dance Company where she choreographed and performed in Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Musical Theater. Miss Holly has utilized her love for dance and film as a background and a featured dancer in music videos and short films as well as behind the scenes as a movement choreographer. She is excited to continue her journey at Integrity Dance.

Miss Bre Dill: Hip Hop Instructor
Miss Bre is going into her 15th year dancing here at IDA, where she has trained in Hip Hop, Ballet, Contemporary, and Jazz. She is the Senior Captain of the Outreach Team and enjoys the opportunity to perform throughout the community. Miss Bre is also Senior Captain of the Grandville Varsity Dance Team where she has competed throughout West Michigan winning numerous awards. Miss Bre is so excited to watch her students learn and grow as dancers this upcoming year!

Miss Jocelyn Metcalf: Instructor
Miss Jocelyn grew up going to Integrity and trained for 14 years in every style she could. She took part in the demonstrator program and Joy in Motion program starting in 7th grade and loved getting to instruct the tap program in the 2022-2023 season. She has guest choreographed for Stage GRs productions of The Little Mermaid and Willy Wonka, and also for the Byron Center High Schools choir program.
This past year Jocelyn moved to Texas to train, minister, and tour professionally with Ingredients Dance Company as a trainee but is so excited to come back this year to her home studio and teach full time.

Miss Erin: Preschool Instructor
Miss Erin was born and raised in metro Detroit. There she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, modern, pointe, acro, and musical theater. She was a senior member of her competition team and a dance captain in her musical theater program. She attended Western Michigan University where she obtained her nursing degree. Now she works as an RN in a pediatric intensive care unit in Grand Rapids. This is Miss Erin’s first year teaching at IDA.

Miss Riley Teunis: Preschool Instructor
Miss Riley has been teaching at IDA for 5 years where she also received her training. Miss Riley trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern and Hip Hop. She was a Senior Captain for the IDA Outreach Team and also a Joy In Motion coach. Riley is attending GVSU where she is pursuing a degree in Child Education. She is thrilled to be working with our youngest dancers this year at IDA and showing them how to combine their passion with purpose!

Miss Ellie: Irish Instructor
Miss Ellie’s journey in the world of dance began in the small town of Portland, MI, where she discovered her passion at the age of 5. By 7, she fell in love with Irish dancing, captivated by its rich traditions and vibrant art form. Over the years, she showcased her talent not only through her home studio but also with various dance troupes and schools dedicated to Irish dance. Her dedication to the craft extended beyond performing; for five years, she had the privilege of teaching Irish dance at her home studio, sharing her knowledge and passion with others. Among her many accomplishments, the highlight of her dance career was dancing alongside the renowned Riverdance in Boston, an experience that solidified her love for the art and its community

Miss Lexi: Instructor
Miss Lexi is a Kentucky native who has trained in various styles including tap, ballet, jazz, and hip hop, for the past 8 years. Lexi is a fourth year instructor with the National Dance Alliance, where she travels to teach middle and high school dance teams around the country every summer.
Her most recent accomplishments include being named as a Collegiate All American in 2023, and double titling at the National Dance Alliance College Nationals with the Davenport University Dance Team in the DII Jazz and Team Routine divisions in 2024.
As a current student at DU, Lexi is a third year captain of the dance team, as well as a student in the accelerated nursing program. She is also a peer mentor with the First Generation Program at DU.
Miss Lexi is incredibly excited to share her passion for dance with her students, and to contribute to the future generations of dancers at Integrity Dance Arts.
